Return of the River Documentary Screening

SSS is sponsoring, in partnership with Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds, a screening of the award winning documentary about the removal of the dams on the Elwha River, what it took to make it happen, and the consequences for salmon, the Tribes, the local community, and a vast watershed.

Plant Trees to Save Salmon - Stillwater Natural Area, Carnation

Because salmon really do grow on trees!

Make a difference for salmon! Join us for a day of volunteering! Plant native trees near Carnation, WA at Stillwater Natural Area. Native trees lower the temperature of the river, reduce erosion and provide food for macroinvertebrates which in turn benefit salmon. Individuals, youth and families as well as groups are welcome! Youth ages 14 & up are requested, or ages 5 & up with parent/guardian supervision.

All tools, gloves, snacks and water are provided.

Carpooling requested, Event will be held rain or shine, dress warmly for the weather, no experience needed.
