Join us as we continue our restoration project work at Stillwater Natural Area, just north of Carnation, WA along the Snoqualmie River. This 456 acre site is a beautiful area with birds, waterfowl and other wildlife. WDFW Discover Pass required, bring one or borrow one from us!

All ages are welcome, this site has easy access with 2 miles of walking roundtrip on the Snoqualmie Trail - and planting in a field near the Snoqualmie River.

5th Free Shellfish Dinner - Event Full! Reservations Closed

For the fifth year, Sound Salmon Solutions is hosting a free shellfish dinner at the Floyd Norgaard Center in Stanwood on Saturday, November 3rd from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.   

  • Learn about water quality issues within the Stillaguamish Watershed community and the impact of poor water quality on people and shellfish. 

  • Join us for an informal evening, dine on locally sourced food, connect with members of the community, and hear about what Snohomish County and partners are doing to protect water quality! 

  • We will provide a buffet style dinner to 200 people for FREE! 

  • Local restaurateur Danny Pickering of the Stanwood Grill will be preparing local shellfish alongside locally sourced produce. 

This event is made possible through Snohomish County's Discretionary Fund Rebate Program.
 

Clean water is essential for Washington’s economy, human health, recreation, and ecology. Together we can help improve water quality
in the Stillaguamish Watershed and the Puget Sound!

3rd Annual Jump Up! for Salmon Fundraising Dinner

Sound Salmon Solutions invites you to join us for our annual fall fundraiser dinner at the Edmonds Center for the Arts in beautiful downtown Edmonds! The evening will include delicious Northwest inspired buffet dinner by local Edmonds caterers Shooby Doo, beer, wine & cocktails served by ECA staff, locally sourced desserts, and a varied selection of tantalizing silent auction items donated by local businesses for your bidding pleasure. 

All donations and funds raised through the silent auction and donation ask will benefit our growing salmon recovery habitat, education, and stewardship programs, especially our newly adopted Willow Creek Salmon and Watershed Education Center (formerly the Willow Creek Salmon Hatchery) right there in Edmonds. 

The buffet style dinner includes antipasti of cured meats, cheeses, grapes, and crisps, roasted pear & gorgonzola crostini, fresh fruit platters, beef satay, chicken rosemary skewers, prosciutto wrapped prawns, grilled vegetable platters, caesar & artisan apple salads, vegan quinoa pilaf, dinner rolls, and dessert.

Each guest will receive two drink tickets for mixed drinks, beer, wine, or nonalcoholic beverages of their choice and more will be available for purchase. Water, coffee, and tea will be available as well and do not count towards your drink tickets or need to be purchased.  

Tickets are $75/person and seating is limited.

Fall Volunteer Tree Planting

oin us as we celebrate fall by restoring riparian habitat at Aronica/Robinson Farms https://goo.gl/maps/pRDMeyYx2C52 along the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley. SSS is partnering with Stewardship Partners to host this event! We will plant native trees and shrubs to enhance salmon habitat and restore the riverbank of this 80-acre farm. This project site is on rough terrain and near the Snoqualmie River. We recommend that volunteers are age 14 or older for this event.
