Sound Salmon Solutions invites you to join us in restoring important salmon habitat along the Snoqualmie River! Together in collaboration with King County Parks, we will be planting native trees and shrubs at a public natural area near Carnation. A healthy riverside buffer of native plants provides the shade and bank stability that young salmon need. Around 20% of the Chinook Salmon that spawn in the Snoqualmie River do so at this site; not only will your work help to improve threatened salmon populations, but will also make a difference for our Southern Resident Orcas, who depend on Chinook salmon.

This event will be taking place at Chinook Bend Natural Area in Carnation. Volunteers are required to register for this event.

Volunteers ages 5+ with parent/guardian are encouraged to join us.
