Native Plant Demonstration Garden Spring Clean Up - Edmonds Stewards

  • Susie Schafer Native Plant Demonstration Garden 95 Pine Street Edmonds, WA, 98020 United States (map)

It may still be winter on the calendar, but here at the Garden, spring has definitely arrived. Osoberries are lighting up our late-winter woods with their myriads of little lanterns, towering Oregon-grapes are crowned with tight pyramids of buds, our bed of Pacific Bleeding Heart is a blanket of green, and Oregon Irises are sending spears of green into the new light. And everywhere our winter birds are tuning up their spring songs. Come celebrate the first full day of spring with the Edmonds Stewards at our Spring Cleanup and Planting Party! We’ll be pruning, planting, and clearing out the last of winter debris. Tools will be provided but feel free to bring your own, especially pruning shears.

When: Saturday, March 21st, 10 a.m. to noon, rain or shine.

Where: The Susie Schaefer Wildlife and Native Plant Community Garden, 95 Pine Street, Edmonds, WA (corner of Pine Street and Highway 104/Edmonds Way), next to the Willow Creek Fish Hatchery. Parking is available along Pine Street, both sides.

No need to sign up in advance, just come on down, and we'll sign you in when you arrive.

Hope to see you at the Garden!
