This WRIA 7-based program is FREE to interested adults. CATS is designed for community members who want to better understand the environmental challenges facing our watersheds (and the salmon who call them home!) and learn how they can make a difference.
Protecting a watershed can feel like a daunting task. Where do you start? What actions make the biggest difference? How can one person or one community create lasting change?
CATS helps answer those questions.
Through a robust series of virtual classes and in-person field experiences, participants explore important topics such as salmon recovery, habitat restoration, community action, policy, and other critical environmental issues that pertain to watershed health. The program combines science and practical knowledge with an emphasis on what community members can actually do.
