It’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end, but planting season is just around the corner. With our first planting event scheduled for October and the salmon rearing season set to begin in December, we want to kick off the volunteer season with a Volunteer Appreciation Party!

We could not do all that we do without our wonderful volunteers. Just since January 2023, our community of 300 volunteers contributed over 1750 hours of service! From habitat restoration to hatchery husbandry to education programs, we are so incredibly grateful for all that you do to support salmon recovery.

To show our appreciation we invite our volunteers of all ages to join us at the Willow Creek Salmon & Watershed Education Center on Thursday, September, 7th from 4 to 6 pm. The event will include refreshments, appetizers, and door prizes! We look forward to seeing you all there!
