Sound Salmon SOlutions 2024 polar plunge

Thank you for your interest in supporting Sound Salmon Solutions 2024 Polar Plunge! In 2021, thanks to over 58 hearty souls who braved the icy waters of the Puget Sound, we held our first Plunge in Mukilteo and raised over $2,200 to support our programs that engage people in our watersheds in salmon recovery through education, habitat restoration, and stewardship. Help us keep that momentum going this year by supporting the Plunge.

Whether you’re interested in pledging a known Plunger, sponsoring the registration for a Plunger, or becoming an event sponsor, there are a myriad of ways you can show your love for salmon by contributing to another successful Polar Plunge!

A Pledge donation goes towards supporting an already registered Plunger! Pledges can be made in any amount. Please use the custom donation option if making an electronic donation and be sure to specify who you are pledging support to either in the comment section or memo line.
We have several community members who are interested in participating but are not able to fund their registration costs. By sponsoring a Plunger you offer space to allow everyone interested in taking the plunge to participate in this year’s event! Sponsorships can be made for anyone or for someone you know. Please be sure to specify you are making a sponsorship and who you are sponsoring if applicable in the comments/memo line. Please note sponsorships can be made anonymously or publicized.

Become an Event Sponsor:

Event sponsors are offered in 4 tiers (Icicle, Iceberg, Glacier, and Avalanche). Please see below for benefits of becoming an event sponsor.

As an Icicle level sponsor, your name or logo will be shared on the partner page of our website for 1 year from the date of the event, your name/logo included on our list of sponsors at the event, on our social media, and in our newsletter article.
As an Iceberg level sponsor, your name or logo will be shared on the partner page of our website for 1 year from the date of the event, your name/logo included on our list of sponsors at the event, on our social media, and in our newsletter article. You will also receive verbal recognition in any event announcements on the day of and mention in any newspaper articles.
As a Glacier-level sponsor, your name or logo will be shared on the partner page of our website for 1 year from the date of the event, your name/logo included on our list of sponsors at the event, on our social media, and in our newsletter article. You will also receive verbal recognition in any event announcements on the day of and any newspaper or radio announcements marketing the event. Additionally, Glacier-level sponsors will receive recognition at any tabling and outreach events we attend for the next year and are offered a 1-hour program offered by SSS staff to learn how you can make your business/home more salmon-friendly!
As an Avalanche-level sponsor, your name or logo will be shared on the partner page of our website for 1 year from the date of the event, your name/logo included on our list of sponsors at the event, on our social media, and in our newsletter article. You will also receive verbal recognition in any event announcements on the day of and any newspaper or radio announcements marketing the event. Additionally, Avalanche-level sponsors will receive recognition at any tabling and outreach events we attend for the next year and are offered a 1-hour program offered by SSS staff to learn how you can make your business/home more salmon-friendly, and are invited to join us at a fish release event for our hatchery-raised coho salmoniEdmonds!
